cake-spiration: cross-stitch!

(image from theflossbox.blogspot,com)

My favorite pillowcases are the cross-stitched ones I get at a local Independence Day festival almost every year.  They are so sweet and innocent and they remind me of my Grandma.  She tried to teach me how to embroider when I was younger, but I didn't have the patience.

A cake with a "cross-stitch" piped board, flowers, and writing would be absolutely adorable for a young (if only at heart) lady's birthday, don't you agree?

always and forever...

Back to the backlog!  It's time for anniversary cakes!

10 inch round cake with fondant icing, ribbon, and royal icing decorations.

10 inch round cake with butter cream icing and decorations.  This cake was decorated to match their wedding cake.

6 inch round replica of my parent's wedding cake with butter cream icing and decorations.

6 inch round anniversary cake with fudge icing and butter cream decorations.

Every wedding cake comes with a complimentary 1st Anniversary cake, so don't forget to give me a call when the time comes.

cake-spiration: blue and white, crisp and clean!

Aren't these little cups adorable?  I think a trio of petite cakes patterned after them would make for a great winter wedding cake.  Smooth icing with spare and crisp decorations?  Sounds good to me!

What do you think?
